Shropshire Renewable Energy Mapping Project
How much renewable energy is there? Where is it, and how could it impact the local economy? Generously funded by Shropshire Council, Zero Carbon Shropshire set out to explore these questions in a virtual event we ran on 20 October 2021.
During the presentation, we looked at the physical possibilities of solar and wind power in Shropshire and produced a series of on-line maps showing the siting possibilities and the major physical and geographic constraints. This will help us all move towards our target of Zero Carbon Shropshire.
