get involved
Hello from Mark Fermor, Founding Member of Zero Carbon Shropshire
Zero Carbon Shropshire is working on behalf of everyone who lives and works across the county. Our goal is for Shropshire to become carbon zero by 2030, and to achieve that, we need your help.
If you haven’t already signed our pledge, please complete the form below, and encourage family and friends to do the same – you’ll then receive our monthly digital newsletter, Green News, featuring news, events, inspiration, interviews and more ways to help our work. You can unsubscribe at any time.
If you’re involved with any local businesses, organisations, schools, community groups, charities, parish and town councils, colleges and universities, please do encourage them to sign up and contribute as an organisation.
We’re always looking for specialists to join our working group. By getting involved, you can join the discussion and contribute ideas and skills. We also rely on volunteers to support Zero Carbon Shropshire in spreading the word – if you have the time, we’d love you to join us. We have a range of roles covering everything from social media posts to event support.
My pledge of support for net zero carbon Shropshire 2030
I support the goal to achieve net zero carbon and restore biodiversity in Shropshire by 2030. I’ll do my best to ensure that my activities are consistent with achieving this goal.
